This is one of two images around which my dance photography exhibit was designed. Around this time, I became more interested in the emotions being conveyed by the dancers than in the steps they were dancing (not always...sometimes the steps are so breathtaking).

I wish I had photographs from another moving and remarkable performance I witnessed: Lawrence Rhodes and Lone Isaksen in "After Eden" with the Harkness Ballet in the early 70's.
